Sligo Seaweed Days from 10am – 4.30pm is an exciting full day course that will be held on Sunday 12th August at Streedagh, Co Sligo on the Wild Atlantic Way.
The day starts in Streedagh with a Seaweed Cookery Demo
followed by a pre walk mug of soup and a signature seaweed scone from the “Irish Seaweed Kitchen” cookbook.
As the tide reveals the seaweeds you will enjoy a leisurely seaweed identification walk at the rocky shore with Prannie using her complimentary laminated seaweed guide with QR codes.
The walk is followed by a Roll your own Sushi session( vegetarian and seafood options).
Recap on seaweeds harvested from the walk and a talk on their nutritional and health benefits.
Cost of the day:
€95 includes seaweed identification walk, seaweed cookery demo, 3rd edition laminated Guide to Edible Seaweeds, seaweed tasting lunch and all other refreshments.
