11am rendezvous at Eithnas By The Sea in Mullaghmore (currently awarded Seafood Restaurant of the Year by Georgina Campbell). Enjoy a brief introduction to seaweeds with Dr Prannie Rhatigan in the form of a seaweed tasting platter– a Taste and Talk- as part of a relaxed 3 course seafood brunch prepared by Eithna O Sullivan. Vegetarian option available.

Departure is at 1pm to catch the low tide for an educational walk along the shoreline to identify and harvest seaweeds in season. Along the walk Prannie will discuss the many uses of seaweed in cooking, for health, gardening and for cosmetic use.
